To upload cookbooks and their dependencies to the Chef Server, Robin introduces the Berkshelf utility.
- [Instructor] Now that you've created…your first organization,…we're ready to download the Starter Kit.…This will contain the authentication keys…that we'll need to connect to your Chef server organization.…You can click the giant Download Starter Kit button…but if you don't see it,…head back into the Administration tab,…select your organization,…and click on the Starter Kit option off to the left.…Once you click the Download Starter Kit button,…you'll be presented with a large warning…that states that your user key will be reset,…are you sure you want to do this?…I'm going to ask you to only download the Starter Kit once…or if you download it multiple times,…make sure to use the latest version you have downloaded…because it contains a fresh key…that we'll need to authenticate to your organization.…
Clicking on Proceed, you'll see it download something…to your local machine called chef-starter.zip.…Unzipping this folder, you'll find something inside…called the chef-repo.…The chef-repo directory…contains all the authentication information…
