This video provides a brief introduction to the tools used in this class that are bundled with the ChefDK, and installing them on your local workstation.

Running this command will actually go out…and curl the Omnitruck website,…grab an installation script,…and install the latest versions of the tools…that we've specified.…Notice here I'm installing 1.3.43,…the same version we installed locally earlier.…When you see the thank you message…for installing the Chef DK,…we should now have the chef --version command…available to us.…Great, now we have our text editor and the tools we need.…Now, clearing my screen,…you should be aware that the chef command…
