Painting the figure details
- Our character creature at this point has his base colors laid in. At this point all we have left to do is really make him the way that we want him to be. So add some personality, we'll add some color to him, make him meaner or nicer or more aggravated or whatever it is he is going to be. We also have to add some color to, say, his horns his bracelets, his hoofs - parts like that. So, I'm going to be using the same tools that I was using before to paint on him. I'm also going to be skipping over to his UV map quite a bit so that I can paint on that map and be a little bit more precise. With things like maybe his horns for instance, I don't want to paint on the mesh, I want to paint directly on the UVs because his horns are already separated. I'm going to go ahead and get started and I will give you some new tools as we move along. Make sure we're in paint mode here - and I'm just making sure that I'm painting on the right image file.
