From the course: Betty Liu on Career Success

Welcome

- Being a real job seeker means what are my values, what's my brand, what can I offer, and where does it fit the most? (calming music) We know that you have something like 200,000 plus sponsors that have supported CGI since 2001, a few of them have begun to reassess their sponsorship, is this because of the funding controversy? I'm interested in the legal implications of having autopilot in the Model S's, right? What happens, Elon, if the car does in fact crash? Who is going to be responsible when that car is on autopilot? I'm Betty Liu, and I'm an anchor at Bloomberg Television. I'm also the author of "Work Smarts," and creator of recently the Radiate podcast where we interview people about their careers, successful people, CEOs, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, so that's kind of the area that I've become interested in, and that I've developed sort of I guess you can say a brand in, and I can continue to grow that, and that's kind of what I want to talk about here in the next few moments. There's a lot of questions and topics related to that, everything from how to network properly, how to find your passion, when do you know it's the right time to leave a job or to start a company, how do you overcome fear. Those are some of the things that I've talked throughout my career about with people, and it's also some of the stuff we'll be talking about throughout this course.
