There are a variety of ways to search for images managed by Capture One. In this video, instructor Derrick Story reviews some of the best methods for finding pictures, even in a very large catalog.
- [Instructor] The search function … in Capture One Pro is excellent, … and you can look for all sorts of stuff within your catalog. … I'm just going to search all images. … That way, we can find some goodies here … using these different tools. … The way to get started is you come up to search, … and I am going to just click on the three dots there … because that gives me this dialog box that I want, … and I can just add search criteria here. … I like to call them conditions, but it says search criteria. … So we'll click on the first one, … and let's say that I want to look for rating. … Well, just keep in mind that there are some presets here … if I want rating because, heck, … that's what people are looking for … most of the time in search. … So if I wanted to, I could just search for, let's say, … two stars or higher here in the catalog, … and right away, … I have 17 images that are two stars or higher. … So I can add another condition right now, … just click on plus, and let's say that I also want format, …
