Global filters enable you to quickly cull JPEGs from RAWs in your catalog. In this video, instructor Derrick Story shows how to do this in Capture One Pro 12.
- Global filters is one of those features … I don't think I've seen in any other application, … at least not the way … it's implemented here in Capture One pro. … It's very handy and there's one cautionary note … to go with them as well. … Let's start with the handy stuff. … So the way that you get to them … is up here at View, and you see Global filters … and what's interesting about it … is that the assumption is … or at least the reality is … that we all have a mix of files … in our library and right now we're looking … at the whole catalog right here, … we're looking at everything … that's in here, all 58 images … as you can see from over here. … So what if I just wanted to see the JPEGs … or what if I just wanted to see the RAWs … for one particular reason or another … or I only wanted to import JPEGs … or I only wanted to import RAWs. … Any of those types of situations, … well that's where Global filters comes in handy. … So we have our 58 images here … and I go to Global filters …
