Missing master files can confuse the application's database. In this video, Derrick Story shows you how to locate master files in the Folders area of Capture One Pro to remedy this problem.
- [Voiceover] There are a couple of scenarios…where you could have this little question mark right here…and what that means is that the image is offline.…One scenario is that you have disconnected the hard drive…that has the master images on them.…And I'm going to talk more about that in the next movie…because that could be actually a real advantage…in certain situations.…The other scenario is that you just move things around…behind Capture One Pro's back and just get it all confused.…And that's the scenario we're in right now.…
I have really made a mess of things.…So what was once our…12-23…session…has four images in it…and then there's a 12-23 Masters that has one image,…you never saw that before and what's going on?…Well, what I did was I just…renamed the sessions folder…to Masters and moved an image over and Capture One Pro…is totally confused now.…So, what I need to do is tell it, you know,…where things are.…
Actually, all the images are in here.…So I just need to help it find them.…So we're going to use the locate command to do that.…
