Create and apply a metadata preset
- [Instructor] We can create user presets for our images that have all sorts of information that we want to make sure travels with the photograph, such as our name and our copyright, and so forth. So I'm going to set that up right now, and then we'll talk a little bit about how to apply them in upcoming movies. So I'm in the metadata tool, up here in the tool tabs, and there's all sorts of stuff here. We have our excess metadata, in the front part of the shot I have one image selected, but while we're here, we can create our metadata preset for IPTC. And so what I'm going to do is I'm just going to add some information here and then save it as a preset. So we'll go ahead and do Photographer. The information that's there now actually came in from the camera, and we'll do Santa Rosa, but I want more. I want more information. (cheerfully laughing) I do.
