What's new in Captivate 8?

Captivate 8 incorporates a lot of new stylistic changes that really set it apart from its predecessors. If you've used Captivate 7 or earlier, the first thing you're going to notice when you open up Captivate 8 is that the top menu has been completely reworked. Instead of having a lot of options going across the top ribbon, there's now fewer options that have drop-down menus with them. For example, if I want to, let's say, insert an object, and then I can choose the object I'd like to insert. In addition to having a reworked user interface, Captivate 8 also comes with the ability to create responsive projects. You'll notice the project I have open, which is the final version of the project we'll be creating in this course. At the very top of this slide, I can now click through various views between the mobile, tablet, and desktop view. And I have the ability to rearrange the slide elements so they appear properly with these different views. Captivate 8 also has built in features to go…
