Using shapes as buttons

- The benefit of using shapes as buttons in Captivate are immense. And like buttons, you can add a shape button on master slide, quiz slides, and extend the shape button to the rest of the project. This helps you overcome the limitations of the regular buttons in Captivate. To create a shape button, let's go ahead and click Shapes. Now, let's go ahead and select one of these shapes. I'll go with the rounded rectangle. Now, let's draw the shape on the stage. Let's go to the properties inspector by double clicking the shape. Here, under the style name properties, go ahead and select Use as Button. This will convert this shape into a button. As soon as you select this option, you'll get two new options added to the properties inspector. One is the state, and other is actions. Let's take a look at the states first. Here, you will find that there are three states added. One is Normal, Down, and Rollover. The current settings that you have made will be applied to the normal state. Let's go…
