Using hyperlinks
One way to add interactivity to your projects here in Captivate is to create hyper links. This will be texts that your learners can click to go to other areas of the project perhaps, or even outside the project to websites or even send e-mails and the like. We're going to explore hyper linking now as we continue working with our new higher orientation project here. And the first thing we're going to do is just scroll up to the second slide that we created in a previous movie, our welcome slide and we did insert some smart shapes with text, and assigned actions to these. These are kind of hyper links. Clicking them will take us to the quiz, or directly to the next slide. If we go to slide three, you'll notice that we have some graphical text in here. Nothing's going to happen with this when we click it, not yet any ways, because it just came across from PowerPoint, our PowerPoint presentation, and it's kind of an image of the slide.
