Join David Rivers for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the exercise files, part of Up and Running with Captivate 7.
If you have a premium membership at lynda.com, you'll have access to the exercise files. And the exercise files allow you to follow along with me, step by step. So if you do plan on using them, I highly recommend placing them in a convenient location, such as your desktop. When you double-click this folder, you'll see a number of subfolders representing each of the chapters in this course. If we go to any one of these subfolders and expand them, you'll see the files we'll be using in that particular chapter. Now, if you don't have access to the exercise files, not to worry.
You can still learn lots by following along with your own files or by simply sitting back, relaxing, and watching.
Learn how to make a presentation from scratch or with built-in themes, import images and PowerPoint slides, and add interest with animation, widgets, and video. Plus add built-in smart learning interactions to your projects, which add more complex interactivity. You'll also discover how to prepare for and record a software simulation, synchronize video, add audio, and build quizzes into your project.
