Trimming, transitioning, and splitting

- When working with a Captivate video file, you might want to cut out some extra dead time or split a video into different pieces, so the video flows better. Both are easy to do. In our video demo file from before, I'll drag my red playhead near the end of the project. You'll see that we have some dead time here where nothing is happening on the screen. I want to trim off from maybe 27 seconds to the end of the video. I'll click the Trim button at the bottom of this screen. The Trim Begin and Trim End markers appear, and I can drag them on the timeline to highlight the parts that I want to get rid of. When I've got everything lined up, I'll click the Trim button at the bottom, and the unwanted part is gone. Now I'd like to add in a nice, smooth transition into the start of the video. A number of pre-built transitions are available, and to browse them, you simply click on one of the diamonds at the start and end of the video.
