Setting up custom workspace
- Adobe Captivate 8 comes with the default workspace with most of the panels closed. If you use some of the panels more frequently, and you need them to be open at all times, you can customize the workspace, and save it. Let's take a look at how to create a custom workspace in Captivate 8. Let's go to Edit menu, and select Preferences. Here, under the General Settings, go ahead and select this option which says Enable custom workspaces/panel undocking. And, as this option mentions, you will need to restart Captivate, we'll go ahead and do that. I'll click OK to close the preferences dialog, and I will close Captivate. I will not save this document. Now, let's go ahead and start Captivate. I'll go to the start menu and select Adobe Captivate 8. Let's go ahead and create a new blank project. I'll change the magnification to Best Fit, and now this will allow me to create my own workspace. I will add my favorite panels to my Captivate project. I will go and select Library first, then, I…
