Recording a video demo

- In both Captivate 6 and 7 you have the ability to record a video demo. And by video demo I really do mean a video that you just watch and might publish to a place like YouTube. As a video you don't have the opportunity to build an interaction of course, but creating something that someone just watches is a legitimate thing to do in many cases. To demonstrate I'm gonna create a video demo that shows the KinetEco Customer Service Training Portal. It has a number of lessons and reference materials to help new KinetEco hires get up to speed. So first I'll show the Incandescent to CLF wattage chart. Then I'll show using the Light Bulb Price Calculator to calculate how much it would cost to purchase 15 13W CLF bulbs for a commercial customer. So back in Captivate on the start screen I'll choose to create a new Video Demo. We get the red Recording box and settings dialog that you see when you record software simulations.
