- Captivate treats regular images and slide Backgrounds differently. Here's what I mean. Slide Backgrounds can be found in the LIbrary in the Backgrounds folder. Clicking through these in the Preview window up top, you'll recognize the screenshots that Captivate took when we originally recorded the lightbulb price software simulation. In the Type column, the Library shows that these are images. And indeed, I could drag and drop any of these so-called Backgrounds out of the Library and drop them on to a slide just like any other image. I'm gonna undo that change. Now notice if I click to, say, slide three in the Filmstrip, and look at the Timeline. We only see see the Highlight box and the Text Caption, and then the slide. But there's no separate image on the Timeline. The Background is an image in the Library, but on the slide, it's been kind of baked into the slide itself.
