Creating custom shapes

- To create a custom shape, you can either create one of the shapes and then convert it to a freeform shape and make the required modifications. Or you can start from scratch and draw a custom shape. Let's add a shape first and try to modify it. We'll go to Shapes and select a star. I'll go ahead and draw a star on the stage. To convert this shape to a freeform shape, we need to right click the shape. I'll go ahead and right click it, and select Convert to freeform. You will see these black handles on the outline of the shape. Click one of the black handles to see the bezier curves that lets you transform the line into a curve. You can also change the position of the point by clicking and dragging the black handle. To come out of the edit mode, just click anywhere outside the shape, and you will be back to the normal mode. And then, if you want to edit the shape again, you can right click and select Edit Points. Now let's get out of this edit mode, and create a shape from scratch…
