- Once, you've recorded a software simulation in Captivate, you typically then spend your time adjusting the timing and size of objects on the screen, adding in more descriptive text and formatting, so you have a consistent look and feel. I'm gonna open the file called lightBulbTraining.cptx. This file started out as the recording we created earlier in the course. It's a cross between a demonstration and an assessment, where on each screen, we give users directions on how to use the Light Bulb Price Calculator. Then, we expect them to perform the step. Work has been done to polish and make this project much closer to finished than before. For instance, the quick boxes have been resized and repositioned, so they're not so darn hard to click on, like this one on slide one. The text in the captions has been expanded to provide meaningful instruction, instead of just the word "select." And users can now actually type in a quantity of light bulbs that they want to purchase like here on…
