Copy and paste smart shape appearance

- [Instructor] You can quickly carry formatting from one Smart Shape to another in a matter of seconds. Select the shape whose appearance you'd like to copy. Right-click and select Copy Appearance. Then select the object you'd like to format. Right-click and choose Paste Appearance. You can apply the formatting to multiple Smart Shapes by holding down the Shift key as you select. Then right-click and Paste Appearance. Here, we have two Smart Shapes acting as buttons. When we open the State View for the top button, we see its multiple states. Let's exit the State View. Now Copy and Paste Appearance between these two shapes. Open the State View for the second shape. The formatting for the different states has carried over as well. Note that this works only for Smart Shapes, or Smart Shapes acting as buttons. Copy and Paste Appearance does not exist for regular buttons, highlight boxes or click boxes. Now you've seen how to…
