Join Anastasia McCune for an in-depth discussion in this video Choosing the appropriate publishing option, part of Captivate 9: Software Simulations.
So, we're ready to publish our Captivate project.…Here we're going to go through the…Captivate publishing options of which there are many.…We're going to touch on all of them and talk…briefly about when you'd want to pick which ones.…So, I'm going to go right away to the File menu and then, publish.…The resulting Publish dialogue opens.…Usually to the swif.html5 tab.…Now many elearning projects are uploaded to a web server…somewhere or are destined for a learning management system or LMS.…And this is the appropriate tab for either case.…
So first, we're going to talk about the scenario…where we're just uploading our project to a web server.…So in this dialog all we have to do is specify what…the title of our project is going to be, Solar Calculator is fine.…And then specify what folder we want it to go into.…So you can see I'm pointing to the…end folder in the exercise files for this chapter.…So, I'm going to publish out to SWF.…I'll deselect HTML 5 for now.…And you can see that I've made sure this publish to folder check box is selected.…
