Capturing and displaying a user's name

- In this lesson, we'll practice using a user defined variable in a simple example. We'll build this into the project we worked on previously where users can learn about four of the best selling KinetEco products. We'll create a user defined variable that will act as a container to capture a user's name. We'll collect the user's name near the beginning of the project, then we'll display the name on the ending screen to personalize the congratulatory message. The first thing to do is create the variable, the container that will hold the user's name. I'm going to go to the Project menu and select Variables. Since this is going to be a user defined variable, from the Type drop-down, I'll make sure that we've got User selected and we do.
