Assigning partial and negative scores

- In Captivate quizzes, you can assign negative scores for all the graded questions. This will let you take off points from the learner's quiz score on answering the question incorrectly, and for multiple choice questions, you can also assign partial scores for each answer option, which is specifically useful for multiple choice, multiple select questions. Let's take a look at the workflow. We are in the Partial and Negative Scoring_Start project. You can open it from the Exercise Files folder under Chapter 11 folder. Let's go to the second slide, and I'll double-click this thumbnail to bring up the Properties Inspector. Inside Properties Inespector, I'll go to the Quiz Inspector. Here, you can specify the required points as penalty to avoid negative points for wrong answers. You don't need to add a minus sign while specifying this value. I'll go ahead and change this to five.
