- [Anastasia] Hi, I'm Anastasia McCune. Welcome to Captivate for Systems Training. Captivate is a really strong tool for creating systems training. Whether you're trying to teach processes and applications that are utilized on screen or systems that involve physical equipment or offline processes, Captivate offers you a lot of capability. In this course, I'll walk you through the most important capabilities for creating these types of projects. Whether you're already familiar with Captivate or just getting started, this course will have something for you.
We'll create a simple piece of training by recording and editing a series of steps performed on screen. We'll also work with a second training for a process that happens offline, assembled from images, on-screen instruction, and other interactive elements. I'll also briefly show you how to incorporate scored and unscored knowledge check questions into a training, as well as interactions like drag-and-drop questions. I'll also show you how to test and publish projects. We'll view these projects on laptop and mobile devices to see how the finished projects look and perform.
I'm really excited about what Captivate can do and the quality of systems training it can create. I think you will be too. So welcome, and let's dive in to Captivate for Systems Training.
