- [Voiceover] Now, it's time to take a look at the most common objects used to build courses with Adobe Captivate 9. Let's start with a simple non-interactive object like text, images, audio and video. And then, we can learn how to add interactive objects. Text is the most important element in a course and possibly the easiest to add. I've created a blank new Captivate project here and let's learn how to add text captions inside our projects. When you create a new project, possibly a theme is applied to your project. Here, you can see, I have this slide and on top of this slide, I have a text placeholder caption. To add text to this caption, you simply have to double-click the text caption and then start typing the text. Also, you will have noticed that as soon as we double-click this text caption, the properties inspector automatically opens up.
