The grade book in Canvas has a…ton of great features.…The best part about the grade book is that it…takes very little setting up yet it is…a dynamic way to organize,…analyze,…and share feedback regarding student progress.…To access the grade book in Canvas,…from any page within the course,…select grades on the left sidebar.…Right away you'll notice that each of…your students is already entered into the…grade book in alphabetical order…according to last name.…You will also notice that any assignments…we created in the course already…are automatically added into the grade book.…
In order to give an example,…I entered some sample scores into the grade book…to show what they would look like.…In Canvas it's very easy…to modify a grade within the grade book.…All I need to do is click on the grade…and it allows me to make…any change that I need to.…When I click outside of it…that grade is now changed.…If you decided to weight your assignment groups,…you will notice that there is a…column for each of the assignment groups.…
