- [Instructor] I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume you wanna create a dynamic learning environment that makes an impression on your learners for years to come. As great as that sounds, it's not that easy to achieve. However, gamification, when used wisely, can just be your magic ticket. Gamification, as it applies to e-learning, takes motivational elements from games and uses them to encourage a specific behavior and engage learners. So while you might not be playing an actual video game, you will be using gaming techniques to take a different approach to learning. But what value does that really offer? Frank Farrall, a digital leader partner at Deloitte, a company who uses gamification for training purposes, said, if you can gamify the process, you are rewarding the behavior and it's like a dopamine release in the brain.
