- As you can probably appreciate, many of the features on the Canon 5D Mark IV are aimed at improving performance, and that means it can help speed up your workflow as a photographer, especially, in many respects, when you're out in the field actually capturing images. And part of that process, I find, is the ability to review my photos along the way and perhaps even assign some star ratings so that I can identify my favorite photos before I even get back to the studio when I'm out in the field. Now, I know a lot of photographers try to avoid actually reviewing their images in the field. I certainly don't want you to miss any great shots because you were busy looking at the settings, reviewing your photos, assigning star ratings, but when you've got a lull in the action it can be very helpful to assign, for example, some star ratings to those photos, 'cause then when you get back into the studio it's going to be that much faster to find your favorite images.
