Communication settings and Wi-Fi
- I think we all can appreciate how valuable a Wi-Fi internet connection can be and that's certainly true for photographers who want to make their images available to others, share their favorite photos with others, for example. But now, we can also make use of Wi-Fi right inside of the Canon 5D Mark IV. This camera now includes a Wi-Fi receiver and that opens up a few very interesting possibilities in terms of sharing, transferring, or just reviewing your images, and even remote capture. So let's take a look at some of the settings there. I'll bring up the menu and under our Communication settings, you'll see that we have settings related to our Built-in wireless capability and that also includes NFC for Near Field Communications. I'll go ahead and first of all enable that option, so my Wi-Fi is now enabled and then I can go into my Wi-Fi function and choose which option I want to take advantage of.
