- [Instructor] One way to drastically improve the quality and effectiveness of your training videos, is to utilize video editing software. In the previous chapter, I mentioned screen capture software and what it does, once you've captured video on your screen however, you may want to take your production to the next level and make edits. Video editing software allows you to do things such as, trimming or cutting your video. This will allow you to remove mistakes that you've made. It will help you to provide time lapsing, in order to shorten your video and make it easier to follow. You can also add text and elements, add or edit audio, and much more. Now video editing software is often more expensive than screen capture software, but I do believe it's worth it. It will allow you to create higher quality training videos and will make your job of creating them, much easier.
