Using annotations
- [Instructor] Annotations are a combination of text and graphic overlays. They can be extremely effective at drawing your viewer's eye to exactly what you want them to focus on. And when you click on Annotations there are six tabs with several examples of each type of annotation. In the first three tabs annotations are all grouped by styles. You can select a style in one tab and then Camtasia will automatically select that same style in the additional tabs, allowing you to create a consistent look and feel within your movie. Now all annotations work in a similar way. You simply select the annotation that you want to add and drag it onto your canvas. It's initially converted into a movie clip and the clip is created on the next available track in your timeline and it begins wherever your playhead is currently located. You can then use the onscreen control handles to adjust the size, rotation, and position of the object, like we've seen with other clips. You can then make further…
