Using the Interactive Hotspot FX
- [Voiceover] The interactive hotspot effect allows you to create dynamic links inside of your finished movie. Links are only functional if you share your movie as a webpage or via Screencast.com. We'll look at each of these options in detail in a later movie. Interactive hotspots are active over the entire area that a clip appears on screen. Let's drag our interactive hotspot widget onto our Explore California logo bug track in our timeline. Then in our Properties Inspector, select the option for URL and enter in the address that you want your viewers to go to when they click the link. I'll enter in http://explorecalifornia.org. If you're creating an eLearning movie and you have an online assessment or survey you want your viewers to take, you could use this option to link them to the desired page. I've created a basic movie navigation out of annotations over here on the left hand side of our window. Each line of text was created as it's own clip, and it lasts for the entire project…
