Using the Device Frame FX
- [Instructor] The Device Frame effect allows you to wrap a clip with a virtual bezel for many common Mac and iOS devices. This is extremely helpful when making screen-based training videos to visually show what device or platform a video was created for. Drag the Device Frame widget to your clip in the timeline to apply the effect. And with the clip selected, scroll down in the Properties Inspector and click the drop-down for Type to select the type of bezel that you want to apply. The iOS devices at the top produce a standard black bezel. While the devices at the bottom of the list, produce a white bezel. Choose a bezel that's appropriate for your movie and works well with the background color of your canvas. For iOS devices, the default will produce a bezel in the portrait orientation. Check the box for horizontal to wrap your clip with a landscape bezel. Let's apply a Device Frame to this second clip. And move our playhead down so we can preview it. Since I recorded this on my…
