Using the Colorize FX
- [Instructor] The Colorize effect allows you to apply a color wash to a clip. This effect is really helpful for creating a custom look for imported video, or making screencasts conform to an interface color scheme. Let's use this effect to change this daytime shot into a nighttime shot, and then apply a secondary color correction to create a unique look. In my timeline, I have two copies of the same clip layered on top of each other, so we can clearly see the layered effect that we're going to be creating. Let's begin by trimming this top clip down just a little bit in our timeline, and then move our playhead down so we can see where we're going to apply the effect. Then, drag the Colorize widget down onto the top clip. Since we want this effect to be applied to the entire clip, we will not adjust the timing on the effect.
