- [Voiceover] The best time to fix audio problems is prior to recording. However, some problems are unavoidable, especially for screen casts. The audio effects with green widgets are designed to help you reduce audio issues, but they will not eliminate problems altogether. Applying audio effects is a real art and requires very subtle changes so that the rest of the audio is not distorted. This is an iterative process that's very subjective and requires a good pair of headphones and a quiet space. The first special effect we'll look at is the "clicking reduction" effect. This effect targets repetitive clicking sounds such as mouse clicks. In this first clip, I've recorded the sound of my mouse being clicked, so what we can hear what this effect is supposed to do. Play back a few seconds of this clip by pressing the space bar. (clicking) Then, drag the "clicking reduction" widget onto the first clip.
