- [Instructor] Now let's focus on bringing our movies to life with Motion. And we'll start with Behaviors. Behaviors allow you to create complex fluid movements with objects on your canvas. Here, we have four clips on our canvas, a text annotation, a graphical annotation, a movie clip, and a PNG image that I've imported. Select all four clips and then drag a behavior onto them on your timeline. I'll use the Jump & Fall behavior. Click to deselect and then drag your playhead over the clips to see the behaviors in action, or play it in real time to get a better sense of what's happening. Behaviors produce a slightly different motion pattern depending on the type of clip that they're applied to. They get applied to the entire clip. Click the light gray bar on the bottom of a clip to reveal the Effects bars. Behaviors appear as a red bar that spans the full length of a clip.
