Separating audio and video

- If you have media with both audio and video but need to work with each separately, you can easily split the clip into separate tracks. Right click the clip, choose separate audio and video. Now you can work with each track independently. Be aware that edits that may cause the audio and video to be out of sync. Also, this is just a copy. The original file still lives here safely in the media bin. If you need to, you can always drag it to the timeline to create a new copy.
