- [Instructor] Once you have your video completed, it's time to export it. Now, each program is going to do this differently, so I'm not going to take too much time going over it in Camtasia, but I will point out a couple things that you'll want to pay attention to. The first thing you need to consider is what you'll be doing with the video. Are you going to upload it to a video hosting site like YouTube or Vimeo? Are you going to add it to a website? To a learning management system? Are you going to email the files to others to view? The reason I mention this is because you'll need to make sure that you export your video in a format that's compatible with the program that you hope to use it for. For example, an MP4 file will be compatible with most programs, whereas other file formats may not upload to YouTube or your learning management system.
