Creating custom keyboard shortcuts
- [Instructor] Camtasia has always had a robust collection of keyboard shortcuts to help you become more efficient at creating great screencasts, but now in Camtasia 2019, they've taken keyboard shortcuts to a whole new level. Open your preferences by pressing Ctrl + , then select the Shortcuts tab. Shortcuts are grouped into common tasks, such as working with Animations and Effects, accessing Program Options, manipulating Markers and Quiz Options, and editing with your Timeline, and nearly every function in the application now has an editable keyboard shortcut. Simply click on the current shortcut that you want to change and type in the new shortcut that you want to use. Perhaps you've used a different video editor that splits selected media with a blade tool so your fingers already know to press b for blade. Just type b and Camtasia will check to see if that shortcut is already in use, if so, it'll give you a warning right here. Now, if you're fine with that simply select the next…
