Changing default timeline durations - Camtasia Tutorial

Changing default timeline durations
- [Instructor] If you find the default timeline durations such as image duration, transition duration, et cetera aren't working for you you can change them to meet your needs and save yourself some editing time. First click Camtasia 2018, then choose Preferences. Make sure you're in the Timeline tab and change each one to the duration that works for you, then close out the Preferences. Everything already on the timeline will remain the same but the new durations will be applied to anything moving forward. For example applying this transition to these clips. For example applying this transition creates a three second fade rather than the default five seconds.
