- [Instructor] I'm going to demonstrate how to change the speed of a video clip. This is an effect I use a lot. For example, in this first clip, I have a screen cap of a login. Despite actually entering the info pretty fast and accurate, it's still like 10 seconds long and there's just no need for my viewers to sit through that full 10 seconds if the directive is just log into your account. I can speed things up by applying a clip speed. Now, to make that happen, I'm going to right click the clip and choose Add Clip Speed. And I get this little blue bar with a little stopwatch on each end. Now, I can speed up the clip by dragging to the left. Let's speed it up by let's say a multiplier of two. You can see there in the yellow bar, it's at 2.07 times the regular speed and my duration is about half. It's gone from 10 seconds to five seconds. Let's preview that.
