- Let's get started by taking a quick look at some of the essential buttons and controls on your camera. Now, don't be worried if you hear me use a term that you aren't familiar with. We'll explore most of these controls in more detail later in the course. Now, I'm going to be showing you a Sony a7R version two here, but we'll also cut in some examples of the other cameras. There's very subtle differences between the original a7 series and the version two. Alright, let's start with the front of the camera. Right here you'll see the power switch. And flipping this on will give the camera power. So from off to on. The power switch also surrounds the shutter button. So if we depress this, it will release the shutter of the camera. And as you can probably guess, this is what you take to actually make a picture. Now the front dial here, is used with several other features to control options. So you see right on the front, we have a control dial that can be moved to adjust the camera. As we…
