- All right, we have the Metabones adpater attached to…the Sony A7R Mark II and this again…is the Canon EF adpater.…So I can take any Canon lens compatible with the adapter…and attach it to a Sony A7 series body.…All right, so we're gonna start off with a zoom lens,…and it's an autofocus lens.…It's the Canon 24-70, all right.…So I'm gonna go ahead and attach this,…and it's just like you would attach any Canon lens.…You match up the red dots like so, and twist.…
And so essentially, what I've done is…I've simulated having a Canon body,…but I've got the Sony here and I can still use Canon glass.…Now, because of the electronics…in the Metabones adapter itself,…I can use autofocus.…Let's go ahead and turn it on.…And what I'm gonna do is just attempt here…to use back button focus.…And it took me a couple tries, but I got it.…You heard that beep, that's our focus.…
But I want to point out the inconsistency here.…Some lenses focus great, some don't.…This focuses really good at 24,…when I go to 70 it tends to hunt quite a bit.…
