- Panoramic photography is a very popular technique used to capture wide vistas and great views. I particularly like to shoot this way for landscape photos. The a7 series comes with two different ways to make panoramic photos. Now, you can create and process stitch jpegs right inside the camera for both horizontal and vertical panoramic images. And this works really well. Or, you could take a higher quality method where you shoot traditional images and then stitch them together in post. For an in-camera workflow, the Sweep Panorama shooting mode will create a big image. This workflow's good for quick results, but it does make a lower quality file overall. You could sweep horizontally or vertically with the a7 camera. This mode's relatively automatic as the camera chooses your shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. But unlike other automatic modes, you can actually adjust things for exposure. Just press the bottom of the control wheel and you could rotate to select a desired exposure…
