Taking a long exposure of a moving train at night

- All right, it's nighttime here. We've got the city lights out, and through my scouting, what I did is I found an S-curve in the L train, and so Chicago's got this great metro system, and the trains sometimes go below, sometimes go above the city, and the L, you get these just wonderful trains carving out through the neighborhood. So right here, we're gonna get a nice curve on the track. I've got my camera set up to take a long exposure. Right now I'm gonna try 25 seconds. My settings are f/11, ISO 80 at 25 seconds, and I'm underexposed just a little bit for those bright lights. The key to this is having a tripod being as stationary as possible. For 25 seconds we have to be perfectly still. I'm shielded from the wind, I've got my remote shutter, so everything looks great. Now I've kind of counted the seconds as the train's gone by, and I think 25 seconds is pretty good, but what I'd like to do is hang out here and do a couple different shutter speeds just for variety.
