Manual mode

- If you need to dial in very precise settings, nothing beats manual mode. Now it is a bit tricky, but manual mode gives you full control over both shutter speed and aperture on your camera. This means that you can dial in the exact exposure that you want. But it also means that it's easier to under- or overexpose if you're not confident with what you're doing. To switch to manual mode, just turn the dial to M. The last settings that you used will be shown in the camera. It remembers the previous manual settings. Now the first thing I recommend is selecting the ISO that you want to use. You can do this by pressing the function button. Navigate to ISO. You could then rotate the control wheel to the desired setting, and then press the middle button to select it. Now, activate the meter by pressing the shutter button halfway. Using the control wheels, we can make adjustments. The front dial is going to change the aperture. This will affect the f-stop. You see, as we open up the lens…
