- Let's talk about the services you're going to be offering and some points I want to make. Don't limit what you offer. First of all, everything you offer falls under that umbrella again of relationship building. So, if you get request from a client and you're not sure how to do it, you don't want to say no. You want to be able to help them no matter what and always be supportive. Most important of all, as you build your business don't be a one-trick pony. Yes, you need to have a core specialty, like weddings, but how great would it be if you were a wedding photographer, but you also understood how to do beautiful portrait lighting or you also knew how to do headshots, or, better yet, you knew how to photograph newborns, because brides start families and babies come along. And how great would it be to be able to have a relationship with that client all the way through different aspects of their photographic needs? So, don't limit your services.
