Shooting with an external flash

- Many photographers incorrectly think that a flash is only for shooting in the dark. But there are lots of times where a flash can come in handy. Sometimes you're shooting in a bright light situation, and you just need more light to bring out your subject from the background. Well, the flash is great because it allows you to even out things, and avoid any harsh shadows on the face. Now, there are a lot of different flashes available for the Sony A7-series camera. It really depends upon the budget that you have. This particular model that I have here is the basic one, the 20M. And it just goes into the hot shoe, and it's a simple, external flash. Remember, the Sony A7-series camera does not come with any sort of built-in flash. So if you need a flash, you will need to purchase something.
