Lighthouse across the water review

- When I was out at the Noble Light, it certainly felt that it was a pretty straightforward shot, a rather simple subject to photograph, not because it necessarily was a simple subject to photograph, but that there simply weren't very many options available. The lighthouse is out on an island, and so unless I had a boat or was willing to swim, I wasn't going to get any closer, and so really it just came down to finding a good vantage point from which to photograph, and then capture a good exposure, but of course, when things seem like they're going to be simple, there are many issues that can get in the way, and that was certainly the case here. I essentially had one basic vantage point that I selected, but then details about the overall framing and the overall exposure and how you're going to approach that exposure become a little bit more important.
