Introduction to architectural photography in Chicago

(ambient music) - Hi, I'm Justin Reznick, and we're in the incredible city of Chicago. This is a true mecca for architecture, from Frank Lloyd Wright to Frank Gehry, so many incredible architects have left their mark on this city. What we're gonna do is really explore fine art imagery. This is not about candid street scenes or documenting the buildings. This is about, how can we create fine art from the incredible architecture that we'll be able to explore? I'm gonna teach some interesting techniques to try and kind of pull out that originality. We're gonna do multiple exposure photography, panoramas, we're gonna do handheld focal blending indoors, all these kind of tips and tricks that I'm excited to share with you so you can do original work in this incredible city. With my background in landscape photography, I feel like I can bring kind of a unique look to architectural photography, and I think that you can do the same, because there's so much variety here, and with the techniques that I'm gonna share with you, really excited for you to implement those and go make your own unique images in this city or any city you get to visit, there's just so much out there. All right, let's get busy. (ambient music)
