- Life is all about the details, and when you're out shooting, those details really matter. In fact, if you're looking closely for the details that the rest of the world might miss, you're gonna come up with some really interesting photographs. Take this chunk of driftwood here. It's pretty. It's definitely nice on its own, and if I get a picture of it, it's probably not a bad photo. But there's so much more that we could be doing here. If we look closely, you'll see there's some really cool details in this driftwood. There's some great texture, great colors and if we get up really nice and close, even without a macro lens, just getting as close as we possibly can, we're gonna find some amazing details on this surface. So let's start by just getting in nice and close, maybe I'll zoom in a little bit. Fill the frame with that, and I like it. We're on to something here.
